We loved it. Traveling from Texas but my kids can't wait to go back. So friendly. The store was so much fun. Their fries were so yummy. Love to find great lil places like this that make America so fun and interesting. Also, loved the old pics in the bathroom.

Really old-fashioned country cafe. You just don't find many places like this anymore. The menu is simple, just breakfast and lunch. But it's authentic home cooking, prepared to order. Freshly-baked pies are wonderful! Along with a slice of pie, you get a slice of history. The building dates from 1927, and is still owned by the original family. The interior is quite small, with just a few long tables -- be prepared to share. In terms of the "store", the shelves are lined with some local specialties, like jams, seasonings, and Amish popcorn (from Indiana). If you're visiting Northwest Arkansas, this is a short side trip that is well worth it. And by the way, gas is about 15 cents a gallon cheaper here than in Bella Vista.

The Jane Store is a wonderful hometown cafe in the country. Housed in a historic 1920's building, it's rustic atomosphere takes you back to yesteryear. Share a table with locals and strike up a conversation that will last all morning. There are a large variety of spices and canned goods available for purchase, books about the history of the area, and old fashioned candy to satisfy your sweet tooth.

You’ve gotta be looking for this one! There’s no “town square” or restaurant row just an old tiny country store on a bend in the road that’s well worth a little drive. I’d have to say they have the most legit homestyle country breakfast I’ve had in decades. It’s a small simple menu, one or two eggs, ham, sausage or bacon... No matter what you choose get the biscuit and gravy as your side item or just get a full order. It’s actually made in house and done very well. The hash browns were also very good, crisped up nicely on the flattop. The only other offerings are burgers and deli sandwiches, maybe I’ll try those someday but I doubt I’ll pass up their breakfast anytime soon. Portions aren’t huge but neither is the price and it leaves room for an outstanding cinnamon roll to finish. Seating and supplies of gravy are limited so head over early.
Down-home friendly. Excellent home cookin'. Tried just breakfast so far -- but will go back to try other meal times--but sausage biscuits and gravy will melt in your mouth goodness. Forget calories here and just enjoy the non-pretentious atmosphere and good home cookin'--and good fellowship whether by yourself or with others--for a take-a-deep-breath- and-enjoy eating experience.
